An index:

  • Provides a systematic guide to the contents of a book
  • Makes for quick and easy referencing.
  • Is a required feature of most academic books.

An indexer will:

  • Liaise with the author to ascertain what is required
  • Read and analyse the contents of the book to identify items to be indexed, based on the author’s requirements
  • Arrange entries alphabetically.

Rates are negotiable.
